Flip the jar and the brine drains through the strainer into the other half. It takes a few seconds. Then take the lid off and grab your jalapeños, pickles, radishes, whatever you're pickling. It makes it super easy.
Make sure the lid is on tight when you screw it back on. Then flip it back, and the brine comes down and fills it back up for storage.
It's glass, so it can go in the dishwasher. The rubber parts pop off super easy, so everything comes apart for cleaning.
I've been using it for a few days now and I'm very happy with it. I'm going to pick up another one for banana peppers and one for actual pickles for my wife, because I don't like pickles.
