The cable is built into the charger, and it's super long. When I pull it out it goes all the way from the outlet down by the shifter and almost touches the ceiling. Anker lists it at 29.5 inches. Pull it over, plug in your phone, and when you're done just let it go and it snaps right back in. If it gets twisted a little bit it sometimes gets caught, but it's fairly easy to fix, you just pull it back. The cable is flexy and feels like good material.
It's super fast, and way more convenient than a wireless charger on your phone mount. There's also an extra USB-C port, so I can pass a regular cable to the back. The light on the front just tells you it's on. It's not a button.
It's about the size of a normal cigarette lighter charger, a little bit bigger, and it can rotate and stays put. The typical one leaves a cable all over the place. It gets caught, it gets around your drinks, and you have to throw it out of the way. This is just way cleaner.
It's a great product, and I love Anker stuff in general. I'll probably pick up a second one so I have two: one for me, one for my wife.
